About Us
History
The Scremin family originates from Sant’Eusebio, a small village west of Bassano del Grappa. After many years of working in agriculture, Onorio Scremin moved closer to the city centre in the 1950s, where he and his family purchased land suitable for cultivating vines. They became a local reference point for table wine. He supplied wine to the people of Bassano and local businesses, often sharing a “gotode vin” — a glass of wine in the Venetian dialect typical of the area — with his most trusted customers.
The evolution of a tradition
From a young age, Onorio’s grandson Zoe worked alongside him, absorbing the knowledge and traditions of cultivating vineyards and olive groves.
The two continued working together until January 2016, when Onorio passed away.
Zoe took over the business deciding to dedicate himself fully to the production of wine and olive oil, with the ambition of creating his own brand, focused on quality.
One of the key innovations was to bottle the wine and create our own labels using new tools and more modern winemaking techniques.
Day by day, we are writing our story, remembering Onorio’s smile while embracing Zoe’s innovations and passion.
The past is our teacher, the present our path and the future our inspiration.
